Wanted! People with a talent to knit, sew, embroider, crochet, dressmake or any craft which involves a needle and thread.

If you have an interest in any of these then the needlework section of the Eisteddfod is the place for you, whether your special interest involves a knitting needle, hand sewing needle, sewing-machine needle or a mixture of any of them.

There are many different sections so you are bound to find one to suit you, even if you are a man, over 80 or as young as 5 or there is a group of you working together.

ALL entries are exhibited and it is so rewarding when you see your entry displayed in the Exhibition at Beau Sejour. There were 205 entries last year and we'd like to improve on that number. With your help we can!

So come on, enter all your wonderful examples of sewing, knitting, crochet, patchwork and embroidery. Don’t leave them in that box under the bed. The entry fee is £1.20 per article and you can enter 2 articles in each section so there is plenty of scope for all your creative talent.
